but then the table tennis, badminton and all the other obscure sports that the chinese are very good at will also start- america wont dominate the track and field as much as people think they will simply because there are so many more competitors in the field as almost every nation has runners, the obscure sports are more specialised which is where i would expect china to be more dominant. also michael phelps is almost finished so there is a big chunk of the usa medal winning hopes almost used up
