You pheasant. When hav you ever contributed anything in here, all you ever do is give grief - usually after the fact or before someone has actually POSTED it. I had an average day wed, but if you had ur mits off it you would've seen my success in the blackbook yestday. Never had an average day on the punt. Also, re PHELAN READY- SLIPPER WINNER IN THE WET, what is doing in melb right now? discount at ur peril. Lucky Secret? Best of the night? Ha what a joke! Never beaten anything near the field he takes on tonight. Biggest LAY of the night for me and wouldnt surprise me if Phelan Ready beat Lucky secret home.[/quote]

When was the last time that a Golden Slipper winner done anything later in their career? Last couple of runs have been horrible and coming up against a crack field of sprinters. Pretty sure Lucky Secret beat a good field around the same time last year including Typhoon Zed who had just won a Group 1 Race. Once again my left nut in Phelan Ready beats Lucky Secret.

Steve will be cooling his heels for 7 days with a temp ban.

Lets focus on the winners, sure have vigorous debate but abuse is not accepted, esp when you havent contributed to the G/Room previously....earn some respect in here first please

Good luck tonight, will follow with interest

Well said Dutchy. Bad luck Scuba Steve, so that means ill have to wait another 7 days before receiving his left testicle when Phelan Ready beats home Lucky Secret. Dutchy - Call Centre's biggest test tomorrow, ive seen $51 fixed odds and thought about a dabble. Good field. Chances?

My opinion on Alcopop is that SA horses are generally overpriced when heading to Melbourne but in this case will be surprised if he beats half the field home

Yeah she might be a late scratching, has had a sore foot early in the week, will see how she is in the morning....if she is 100% Id give her a chance now its rained, the more rain the better, she is probably out of her depth a bit but a heavy track brings her into it. She hasnt finished worse than 2nd on the track in 4 starts so thats a postive...

Id definately be interested in 50/1, esp if it keeps raining

Puzzling thing to say about a horse that won a slipper a few months ago.... Can never underestimate.... A couple of below par runs and its curtains?

DC on absolute fire again. Love it how we love to pot horses (even SA's own on this occasion), what has alcopop done wrong this prep? Absolutely nothing. I said it in my preview this is a good horse. Where is SUPER STEVE now? Got the tri for nearly 50% in the Manikato, would have been a lot healthier if Wanted snuck into 3rd coz i had him too. And also had the quaddie for a bit over 30%. Mug punter STEVE?

Dodgey if you want to be a knob that is fine, I stated I would be surprised if it beat half the field home - horse won nh wp, yet you completely forget to remember my certainty that you potted and went on to win after I declared it
