mt79 'itsa pity'

Postby bayman » Sat Jun 24, 2006 1:21 am

it is a pity that your girlfriend only has three credit cards that you've maxed to get on the kanga's imagine if she had 10 cards you would've got 10 grand on, thanks for letting me know but as i said i wasn't convinced they'd win, but well done & at least take her for a meal then you'll be able to 'use' the cards again when needed & i hope jt is now on your xmas card list

cheers mt79

DUTCHY WHAT IF ???

Postby bayman » Sun Jun 25, 2006 12:08 am

what if the central players decided to put the trip fund on themselves to win 1-39 ? if i was playing for a team i'd organise that & remember they're not trying to lose just not go for a bigger % mind you i dont think any side would do it but it bears thought !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BAYMAN

in your scenario with centrals putting the trip fund onto 1 - 39 points, west may actually be that bad and force central to win by a big space.

DUTCHY

i think if you get anything near the 60 point margin given fine weather then ill be joining you in the line up to get on. The dogs may not be back to there best but they are better then most of the other teams going about and may just be working up to peak form heading into the finals.

ill also be lining up for north at -40ish, but it may be longer.

North have been disciplined enough to kill sides off this year, so I'll agree with taking them at -40.
A less experienced North of a couple of years ago, may have won the game against Sturt fri night, but would've taken their foot off the pedal once they had won.
Yes, North do have the killer instinct now.

there are now 3 GOOD THINGS next weekend in the local league.

NORTH by plenty over the bays
Centrals the same over west
NORWOOD will be beating Port if they play the way they did today.

Expect Port to bounce back.
I hope Bayman is not throwing himself off the end of the Glenelg jetty.
