whilst it could've been interpretered as SPRUIKING, the main intent was making the point that Tattsbet provided me with the Best place odds i could find apart from Betfair which may or may not have offered me better? Even if better was offered on Betfair, how much could i have got set for? Doubt it would've been anywhere near as much i got on with Tattsbet but i'll stand corrected.

well well well they (unitab) have been so gracious to allow a little jackpot on globe derby tonight, it is the daily double, however given the fact that the 2nd leg favourite & almost certain winner (a late mal :D ) will pay $1.00 or $1.10 for a win, i think that it is a unitab ploy to say 'we gave you a jackpot & it didn't work'.....now i realise that the victoria cup meeting should & did get the majority of jackpots tonight, but how come when this tab who is by name 'united' always gives the big jackpots one way ?? (albion park), winnellie park should get one as well as they are part of the ''unitedtab''......did we even get a jackpot on the sa cup in january 2010 ?

Ive witnessed 2 robberies this week
Took the family to KFC
Paid the bill for food and drinks
Kid wanted a Pepsi, so ordered it
"" That will be $2-95.""
I asked is that right
"" Yes its $2-95.""
....

The next robbery was LATE MAL number 14
Ohoka Nevada won the race

Betfair dividends
$1-06 win
$1-06 place [was a fluke price]

Unitab dividends
$1-00 win
$1-00 place

Anyone who backed this pacer on Unitab was comprehensively robbed
Absolutely criminal
How does a TAB that would make zillions in profits, rob thier punters

The other TABS paid
$1-04 + $-1-04 nsw
$1-10 + $1-04 supertab

So why isit the other TABS can pay a return for the win and place

PS
The cost of the can was $2-85, as I have kept the can

How many 2 litre drinks could you buy if you had $100 the win tonight on OHOKA NEVADA on Unitab ?

well you'd 'collect' $100.00 so you could buy 59 x 2 litre bottles @ $1.69 & get 29 cents in change for your $100.00 you collected

i'll tell you exactly why unitab will pay $1.00 for a winner & not jump it to $1.02 or $1.04 etc, when a horse called 'courage under fire' raced, it was owned by a wealthy man who also happened to be on the board or committee of a queensland harness racing club (i think gold coast from memory) & he had $100,000.00 on the horse on course so that the club would get the 5-10% turnover (or whatever it is) & from that night the tab made a decision no horse would ever pay $1.02/$1.04 etc when it should be $1.00 from the weight of money invested on it.....................

whether this is justified is up for discussion but for me if you have a bet you should be able to win something when there is a chance you could lose......so as soon as the tab becomes national the better

Gentleman,
A few things with the tattsbet fixed odds betting.

1- yes, they are fairly aggressive with their prices BUT back a few winners with them through your account and see how you get on.
I know of plenty of people who aren't allowed to back a horse to win more than $500.

2- if you bet cash at the pub or tab you get a better bet on. So are restricting/barring people who win from them on an account.
But these blokes don't want to bet at a tab/pub everytime they bet. They want to do it at Home infront of the computer.

So the good prices are available to some but not others just like the other SO CALLED BETTING SHOPS who advertise on TV.
Offer the world to you start winning!!!!

unitab arent bad all the time, they consistently have better fixed odds than sportingbet, i have accounts with both plus sportsbet.

now listen to this one, on sat 27/11 whilst lying in st andrews hospital i rang up sportingbet and the operator kindly let me have $5 bets on the gallops, i proceeded to have a bet at morphettville in the last 4 races not even thinking of the quaddie, you know what happened, yep all 4 got up and it was only when listening to the divvies on radiotab which is a feat in itself that it twigged i had picked all quaddy legs, it paid better on unitab than anywhere else, the divvy? $8066, do ya reckon that hurt!! i also had another 2 bets that day, jungle ruler in melbourne and smoken up in the miracle mile, both won and i had a good day which could have been a hell of a lot better.

i worked out later that night that if i had taken a $1 multi on those 6 selections that day i would have collected $140 grand  , dont know if sportingbet would pay out that much though.

on a side note, i rang sportingbet next day to have more bets and the operator informed me it was $20 minimum per bet by phone, explained it wasnt the case the day before but couldnt be rooted arguing with him
