Good thing I went cheap on the multi's then :D

I always find Round 1 to be a bit of a raffle .. Won't do any serious betting until Ive seen the teams.

i like St kilda -16 at $2.36/collingwood -40 $1.66 and freo +24.5 $1.19 = $4.61 for the treble plus taking the 3 double combos

cats have a number of injury concerns in which some players will carry into the game whilst others will miss

St Kilda will be close to full strength and will want to start the year on a positive note given the horror summer they have gone through

I thought the saints had their injury concerns too? Cats will win.

I had pretty much given up on Carlton covering, only kept following the game to see if they could come back and win. The heart was racing a bit towards the end, very lucky start to the year. :D

Mate, there's enough bad luck when punting, so when the fortune runs your way you've usually earnt it .. Hopefully its a pointer to your season in general.

I was going to hammer Carlton 1-39, but just had a feeling that the Tigers were a chance .. When I heard the scores in the last quarter I was pretty happy I held off, lol, now not so

haha CP, i changed my tip from blues 1 to 30 to blues -20.5.
so i was gutted at the end! worst thing is i thought i had them -19.5 till i looked at ticket.
that last tigers shot on goal when it rolled away from the goals i thought it was my lucky night.....

only small investment tho thankfully.

ive had a bigger go at hawks -2.5 (altho i think the line is 1.5 now)
