Folks,

The Brownlow quinellas of Goodes/Cousins ($8.00) and Goodes/Edwards ($41) look mighty appealing odds; as does, albeit narrow odds, of Adelaide to poll the most votes at $1.65. Normally wouldn't touch anything that short in a 16 runner field, but realistically, they will have a lot more games where they get 3-2-1 than West Coast, their only serious threat.

While a number will jump on Port players to run Top 5 or a place, take great caution - they simply did not win enough games and even when they did, their two main hopes; S Burgoyne and Lade will take votes from each other. Very, very hard to see either getting more than about 12 - not enough to be up there.

Got to like Chris Judd at just over $2 to go top 5 - the umps love him.
Think that Jonathon Brown is good value at $1.85 over Simon Black in the head to head. He was on fire up until the injury.

.... totally agree ORDB..... the Jonathon Brown bet is a GIFT..... he will poll 5 BOGS......Black will only get 6or 7 votes IMHO.
dont be surprised if A McLeod gets most votes for Adel @ $11..... his 20 posie games are better than Goodwins 30 possie games....

Agree folks - throw Brown into any combination involving most votes. He will get at least 4 BOG's for the mid season run, whereas Black, while getting plenty of touches, simply won't poll enough in a losing team.
Have thrown in another "most club votes" combination of Ben Johnson (Coll)/Mitchell (Haw)/J. Bowden (Rich)/Cousins (WC)/Brown (Bris) - at odds of $43.30.

Alright heres my bets (have put S,M & L for size of bet), done a bit of studying and confident of a profitable night-

TO WIN
West @ $4.70 L
Johnson @ $16- M
Edwards @ $26- M
Hall @ $151- S
Davey @ $301- S

H2H
Chad to beat Kane @ $1.65 M
Lucas to beat Hird @ $1.37 L
B Harvey to beat Thompson @ $2-17 L
+ Multi the above @ $4.91 M

(note I looked at Brown/Black as mentioned by others - not convinced Brown will win, Black had some great games importantly in their wins - NO BET for me - in fact I think Power is value to beat them both, refer below)

Club high votegetter
Edwards @ $5- M
Fevola @ $1.75 L
Lucas @ 1.40 L
B Harvey @ $2.90 L (like this one a lot)
Davey @ $17- S
R Harvey @ $17- S
J Bowden @ $3- M (Richardson opened at $11- in this market and now into $3.30)
L Power @ $4.50 M

+ Multi of Fev, Lucas & B Harvey $7.10 and another adding Edwards $35.5

Should be enough to keep me interested for the night!!!!!

good luck all
