i just use the account to muck about with, nothing really serious, until i hit the first 4 on wednesday

and i would suggest most punters here and everywhere would have multiple accounts because different corporates have different betting options on sports and racing etc.

I'm in IT, (scoping, testing (including load testing) etc) and to have something go live when it's just fundamentally not working in any aspect is a disgrace. Whoever built it, and whoever pressed the button to allow it to go into production should be shot.

They must have hired the same dimwits that also produce the Facebook android app. Every new update is completely useless. Why bother releasing it if it won't work


When Sportsbet changed its site over earlier this year at least it functioned properly and the only teething problems I had was working out how to use the bloody thing

yep, that's exactly what I do. Betfair, Sportsbet, Tatts are the three I predominantly use.

I went to clovie instead. Heard couple other ppl say only reason they were there was coz site was Dow. Amusing

Sportingbet revamped their website about 2 years ago
During the implementation process and for sometime after, you had a choice of using the new or previous site for placing bets
This was a good process
Gradually the computer birdbrains, like myself, were able to ween of the previous set up, to the new
Irrespective of whether a new site is better or not, it takes time to adjust

excellent post MAL, when the change happened i did stick with the old system as i was familiar with that and easy to use. BUT would unitab be able to have 2 sites going when they cant even get this up and running?

yeah if unitab gave u two sites just meant they had 2 sites to **** up and try and fix in a hurry

They changed their sites for Multiple betting [Doubles, Quaddies etc] about 1-2 years ago
The new format for placing quaddies is an absolute shocker
BUT
They have still maintained the old process when you link up to EXPRESSBET
Expressbet for Multis is adequate

i was messing around with the my preferences and updating my details etc the other day on the new unitab.
and i changed my pre commitment betting this or something to $200 weekly, i dont even remember doing it.

so i cant bet or withdrawal money for like a week now, bloody annoying, cost me yesterday.

so now ive just changed it to no limit but it takes 7 days to go into effect.

yeah ive left the settings alone, i couldnt find where you change the time you are logged on, so i get booted every 30mins, but most of my investments are now done through the corporates or betfair

Is there a way to turn off something so ya don't keep getting logged out...........it's so frustrating.......you have no idea until you try to have a bet, then it takes too long to come back and you know the race will jump before you get on eveytime..........thanks heaps Tattbet!!!!
