I think the bulldogs would be a real chance BUT for the fact that they have been to Darwin and back and at the start of the game the temp there was a mere 31 degrees. They say never to back a side that has travelled to Perth the previous week - Darwin must be in a similar category surely?

That's why I've gone Collingwood (+ they have a good record over here)

North into $1.90, looks like the Bays fans aren't putting their money where their mouth is!
I was going to venture down to Thornton today if I could get $2 but won't bother now.

Has anyone thought about having a punt on Sturt this week?

Historically, (at least in the AFL), when a new coach takes over at a club mid-season the teams have often won their first game. Atkinson is coaching his first game, the game is at Unley and I wouldn't be surprised to see a decent Crowd turn up on the basis that Sturt fans will want to see how he performs and South fans will be looking for a win to continue to put pressure on Port and Norwood for fifth spot.

Hi Folks,

Time to put the old proverbials on the line once again.

In the SANFL, there is something about Norwood this week that looks appealing. Everything on the line, and the $4.50 is very tempting. $25 on this (win $112.50)

Otherwise, the multi of Port Adelaide (AFL)/Fremantle/W.Coast/Melb looks very good too - $25 on this to win $124.75.

Good luck and remember folks, don't just tip the winners, back em on...

well i think the 3 specials in the AFL are
Sydney, Freo and west coast

the next best essendon and richmond

followed by melbourne

pt adelaide

then the bulldogs are the big value bet for the week.

all the short priced favs look like winning the SANFL and the north/bay game 50-50

whilst at the AUD this morning Thornton had his prices up and John sent out a workmate to copy Curly Steals market and there were some differences and of course John changed them and he made a comment ' why do they always have to be different?' and i laughed, i couldnt believe he would make such a stupid comment, i thought it was called competition!!!!!!!!!

What would be the point in being the same price as a competitor, it would be like coles and woolies having every item the same price.

only Thornton could come up with something like that.

Yes.

No.
Costing me my line bet into NA after leading by 5 goals in the second 1/4 is unforgivable.
We were very lucky to win that game.

Punk you must be proud of your boys and wasent it fitting
that Buckley took that speccy to get Collingwood over the line.
Buckley has the record for the highest total of games for a captain of
the Collingwood footy club, what a superstar.

After the game Maguire made the penetration to Buckley oops I
meant presentation to Buckley!

Seeing Buckleys speccy reminded me of the way BAYMAN played footy,
BAYMAN was the guy with the spigg marks in his back!

I very nearly took the $2 on offer about Port at 3/4 time... would've had 3 units on (to recoup my looming doubles losses...).
Luckily for me, I decided to wear the consequences, & it saved me! :D

Yep.
It's all up to North now, they've got a good enough side to beat you, just depends whether they are switched on or not & play their best footy.
