Surprised at all the love for Roddick here. Hardly in great form himself for a while. Would not be in the least surprired to see Hewitt take this in 4 or 5 sets.

gotta be some hope, but Murray - to quote MAL in cricketing terms is a flat track bully and could wipe him off the court

good luck

Cheers MT. Murray will probably win 6-0 6-0 6-0

No you don't. Bets are refunded if a player retires without the match being completed.

That said, if the match does continue, Hewitt is in a good position, which is why I was surprised to see such a huge disparity in the odds on this one pre-game. Long way to go, though.

worth checking your agencies rules and regs, most would refund but betfair wont as more than 1 set has been played(i think) :D

Good point, Big Al - there are a couple of agencies that still pay out on players who win through opponent's retirements. The vast majority don't as a result of, shall we say, "unusual" retirement after even more "unusual" betting patterns, though.

Yep, will be intresting to see what they do if roddick does retire if they still pay out on hewitts bets, you would be pretty dirty backing him at those juicy odds and have it snatched away from you, might be a goodwill payout from the site sponsor, but they may be carrying a bit on the game
