i know a bloke who makes good money betting on the baseball as well as AMERICAN FOOTBALL.
in the baseball he likes to bet the unders/overs in terms of number of runs scored and he seems to do quite well.
not having FOXTEL is a problem when punting on AMERICAN sports because its good to get a feel of what is happening and its always great to watch your money go round.

Hi folks,
Looks some good value going around in the footy punting this weekend.
In tonight's AFL, while the home team are deserved favorites, something still slightly appealing about the Western Bulldogs at $3.85. We keep expecting them to fall over, but they keep producing one more week. We'll have $20 on the run continuing this week to win $77. Will also have $5 on Matthew Robbins to be leading goalkicker of the match at $11 (win $55), with a saver on Dean Cox at $26 to win $130. With a shortish Bulldog backline, Worsfold may exploit it by resting Cox forward and it could be the wildcard.
In the SANFL, South keep shortening - now into $1.60. Still appeals as a best bet - $40 here to win $64. Central at $2.55 is also surprising value for a team that has pretty good form against the Roosters this year. We'll take $20 on that to win $51.
To round out and make the even $100, we'll take the exotic option to really boost the bank for a long-term saver. Glenelg's Justin McConnell to win the Magarey - $5 e.w at $61 ($305 win, $76 place). It is a real long shot, but he will fall under the umps eye a lot this season, and could fill a place to give some genuine value.
Good luck folks!

just thought you went today as they normally dont bet SANFL until friday.
i think SOUTH are the best bet of the weekend and after talking to an astute judge i got convinced that centrals are over the odds as NORTH wil have some important outs on sunday.
