Better service than the service Centrebet gave me in never ever paying out on a winner hence why I left.

Yeah I was with them for almost 10 years when they screwed me.
Wouldn't even give me an explanation despite me sending 2 or 3 emails to them.
Never got any free bets with Centretbet in 10 years but have had quite a few at sportsbet.com.au in a limited time and no stuff ups too boot so very happy now.

so was it a winning bet that they wouldnt pay?

I won the $1k in a losing bet raffle so very lucky! basically every losing bet for the month was put in a raffle

I got $120- of free bets when I joined Sportsbet - put the $100- on Freo to beat Port at the line late in the year  and put the $20- ont he swans to win the flag at $5.50

its getting very competitive out there so worth using the promotions/free bets and having a few to shoce from

wedgie, write a letter to them outlining all details & i'm sure you'll get your money if not get a member of parliament to pursue the matter as that always works.

i'll pm a person to write to at centrebet if you do write a letter

i had a sportsbet on my brothers account about 6 months ago & it came up loss but it was a collect so we rang up & told them they looked it up on the spot & obviously found out we were right but wehad to wait for an hour for them to change the results in the computer

now what if you back a loser on sport with a ticket notice the mistake & collect it before its rectified wouldn't that be great

Folks,

I'll get this off my chest and then put up the ol' tips for the Big One.

Asked Johnny for a quote, as requested, on the Jack Oatey. Said he wasn't fielding on it because "it is voted on by a panel and they could be influenced by betting". When ol' Perce inquired why he fielded on the Norm Smith the week before, and the Magarey this week, things suddenly went quiet. Perhaps ol' Perce needed to speak up a bit more.

Now folks - does this seem a little strange to you? It's a bit like saying "we can't field on horse races anymore because they are ridden by humans who could be influenced by betting". Doesn't make a lot of sense at all really.

Anyway - on to the big game.

At $1.47, CD looks great value. They have the wood on WWT in finals and hard to see this changing. Let's have a $50 on this, and to make it interesting, $10 on the margins 41-60 (to win $50), 61-80 (to win $80), 81-100 (to win $150) and 101+ (to win $210). Total outlay of $90.

Good luck in the last footy punt of the year, folks!

GO YOU EAGLES>>>

While I was sitting there quietly with my $50 on at $2.60 - my mate had $100 on at $9 for them to win > 40 points.. brave man I said before the game.. but not when our mate "fat tony" paid out on the result!!

man I wish I had some decent cash in my pocket at half time - they were still offering $1.65 for the Eagles which for everyone who watched the game was a GIFT as while the margin wasnt great the way the eagles were playing there was no doubt...

It's not cricket to come in & declare your bets after the event- no post (prior), no brag...

Agree Punky, lift your game SCD and I nearly believed the 40+ bet
until you mentioned my MATE had $100...... what mates ?

Meanwhile BAYMAN might be found collecting cans tonight.
MT79 might be seen at the pawnbrokers tomorrow
And I am filing for bankruptcy.
And DISSIDENT is running around with his tie around his throat
saying "You 3 were wrong."

No No - No bragging about the win my $80 is nothing compared to Bayman/MT and Mal's effort.. I'm annoyed at myself, the year they lost by 20+ goals I had $300 on.... so today was just a token effort and done only so my mate didn't feel so bad if they lost...

Ask MT about my mate though, we saw the boys at 1/2 time and they thought Thornton was on drugs with his $1.65 or $1.70 as they thought about the Eagles..

still thought the $1.50 was value about CENTRALS but at half time when the betting was around $1.65 - $1.70 for the EAGLES i did think about having something on, as they looked in complete control. also thought about having something on them getting the first score in the 3rd 1/4, but i stayed with the CENTRALS bet and was just praying in hope.
