I know you won't - but you should give it to me Mal - I deserve it for that poor effort.. (no more Betfair tips from me now!!)

I just got back on track - took an exacta race 3 at Gawler.. 1,3,6 - 1,3,4,6,7 for 50c (result was 4 - 6) but paid 6 - 4 on Supertab and paid $154.. so got a collect... 1st one for the night (had to leave the pub to get it!!!)

Gawler Quaddie

Postby SCD » Fri Jan 26, 2007 11:15 pm

I'm not happy.. got the quaddie for 25% on supertab (cost me $25 to get it) and it paid $398.

Manhatten Bridge = $3.00
Bogan Road = $10.60
Bold Xample = $19.00
Red Bear Wroxten = $1.90 (over $1100 in an all up) and it pays not even $400..

Worst bit is that Melpark Sunset @ $7 was paying only $300 and Fuzzy Logic @ $4 was paying only $550 = shocking dividends given the prices of the winners..

The supertab win dividends were inflated because they only took out 6% onstead of 15%
But the quad paid awful
I noticed the Adelaide treble 3-30 x $17-50 x $3-30 = about $160 paid $48.
Mind you the 1st leg ZETTARL was over the odds at $3-30

GLOBE DERBY

Postby SCD » Fri Jan 26, 2007 11:34 pm

Tough night to find winners tonight

R1 - 3 and 7 on top from 1,2,10 and place hopes to 6,8
R2 - Tough race, main hopes 2,3,9,10 (I like 9 e/w)
R3 - 7 and each way special (to trail the leader) from 1,2,3,8,9
R4 - 5 and 7 on top from 2,3,6,8
R5 - 1 and 4 on top next best 2,3,7,8
R6 - 1,4,9 from 3,7 in a tough race...
R7 - 1,3,4,7 are the hopes (I would anchor the 1 in the tris)
R8 - 6 a good thing from 1,2,4,5,8,9
R9 - I really like the change of stable and driver.. so 9 e/w with other hopes to 1,5,7,8
R10 - 8 an absolute moral... 1,2,3,5,6 to fill the placings

Suggested Bets
R3 - 7 e/w
R8 - 6 w
R9 - 9 e/w
R10 - 8w

LATE MAL
-------------
R8-6 BOYSIE genuine star of the future, drawn poorly AGAIN and will
probaly have to work hard but still appeals as an EW special EACH WAY

There were a few shorties I could have tipped on the programme that
I nearly
could have made LATE MALS but there were some variables which put me off.
I think if any Favs are below $1-33 tonight they would be layable for the BETFAIR pirates.

Good luck

I like how everybody talks about ALL the winners I tip

ps BAYMAN + MT79
The paper puts in thier odds at about 150%
The TAB pays out at 115%
That should mean the paper pays the unders not the TAB

r1 3 a good thing from 5,6,7,8 next best 2,9
r2 two winning chances 2,3 (mals horse),with multi hopes to 1,8,10
r3 top three 1(good draw),3,4 with numerous place hopes 1,5,6,9,10
r4 7 on top from 2,3,5,6
r5 7 another good thing trialled very well, from 4,5,8 i'd risk the 6 from that draw
r6 chances in a tough race 1(watch i dont know it),4,5,6,7,8 with 8 on top e/w
r7 only four possible chances 1,4,5,6 i have 1,6 on top from 4,5

suggested bet(s)
allup
r1 no 3 win (rated 1/3)
r5 no 7 win (rated 1/2)

they both will win & good luck on the punt

globe derby sat,

r1 we start off with a good thing on a e/w basis, in the 2 ran 4th in a cup race last sunday & this is a big drop in class while for multis there is plenty of place hopes 1,3,6,7,8,10
r2 chances in an open race 3,5,9,10 next best 2,4
r3 chances 1,2,3,7,8,9 as far as i know the 3 has not trialled so it could be worth risking but is the best horse in the race
r4 best two 5,6 the 5 is flying at the moment but in its last two starts has been checked & galloped then monday galloped of its own accord may be short of confidence early, for multis 2,3,7,8
r5 in an open race 1,2,4,8 next best 7
r6 the leader is an e/w special 3, main dangers 4,5,7,9 & a rough place hope to 1
r7 chances to 1,2,3,4,7 if the 1 is 1.80 like it is in the weekly stay away as it is possible it could end up 3 back on the pegs & no value
r8 chances 2,3,4,6,8 next best 1 i like 8 e/w if it runs up to its last start
r9 an open trott, chances are 1,4,5,7,8 & i'll stick to 5 e/w
r10 this is a good thing but i'm afraid it'll be at a good things price in no 8 (rated 1/7) the only possible horse that could beat it is the 1 & possibly 3 for 3rd

suggested bet(s)
allup
r1 no 2 e/w
r4 no5 place
r6 no 3 e/w
r10 no 8 win
if you are just looking for a profit the last is a moral

good luck on the punt
ps we'll have to see how r1 no5, r4 no5 & r6 no3 go for mal as they're all backing up quickly in the week the first one has no hope but on form the last two do so we'll judge it on those to, ok mal ?

Now wouldja look at what the BAYMAN tipped as his suggested bet
r1-2 ew
and it WINS at $6-10 + $1-80 :prayer: :prayer: :prayer: :prayer: :prayer: :prayer:

BAYMAN re : Boysie

When you watch your tapes listen to what the caller says about the horse scoring up.
The horse did not score up well , the driver then made the decision to ease the horse back.

The champ won thats all that counts and we can celebrate with a $2 winner unlike
the $1-10 pops I usually tip =D>
