The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

NORTH - $3.30
WWT - $3.60
CD - $4.00
SOUTH - $6.00
WEST - $14.00
PORT - $14.00
GLENELG - $16.00
NORWOOD - $41.00
STURT - $201.00

West look very short - but they WILL make the finals. I'm looking forward to the first final 5 market to put that money where the faith is. Port to slide this year - have one or two good recruits, and a couple of very overrated ones.

MAGAREY - first market (no-one else prepared to do it, may as well have a crack!)

B. BACKWELL (GL), I. CALLINAN (CD)- $5.00
J. CICOLELLA (WWT) - $7.00
N. GILL (NA), J. CLAYTON (PA) - $8.00
C. PARRY (SA), T. INKSTER (WWT), C. O'SULLIVAN (CD) - $10.00
J. GALLAGHER (NWD), R. ARCHARD (SA) - $14.00

KEN FARMER MEDAL:

B. CHAMBERS (ST) - $4.25
M. PASSADOR (WWT) - $4.50
B. WARREN (SA) - $5.50
A. COCKSHELL (NWD) - $11.00
D. CUPIDO (WA) - $14.00
C. WATERHOUSE (PA) - $16.00

Awaiting final confirmation on D. Schell (CD) - if playing, $6.00

Does anyone have ANY idea when Joketon will reveal his markets? I'm assuming he is waiting on trial game outcomes to assess the recruits, team form etc.

MT79 - an AFL market is out so why not an SANFL market yet? The season starts in a few weeks. Can't see any late recruits bursting on to the scene now, and the draw is done.

i understand where you are coming from SQAWK but with the AFL there are so many betting agencies that bet on it, that if one agency gets a big bet, they may incline to lay some of it off onto another, whereas here there are only 2 bookies, and im not sure if you could call one of them a bookie so the opportunity to lay off isnt as great.

It would be good if we could have more options in betting on the SANFL, such as final 5 betting, leading goalkicker etc........im sure if they trialled it for a year that there maybe an increase in turnover and if it doesnt succeed then they dont have to do it again and they probably would have won something in doing it.

i'm not sure whether you could call either of them bookies as they both run to the tote to lay off, no guts no glory boys, as for curly's mob they call themselves completesports which is an inaccurate description some sports they dont even bet on so how is it 'completesports' ?? i'll admit that they do say you can get the tab prices with us but last time that happened we read about lucys light in the paper   :P :P :P :P    & if we're going to take tab prices we may as well have the bet on the tab

Would jump on jeremy Clayton for the Magarey at this price! Ball magnet if I've ever seen one, fair, courageous and kicks goals.
