I give the tips with no effort required, just back them and win!!!

BUT if Ecky wants an explanation here they are -

Minnesota - One of the big surprises of the young baseball season has been the pitching of the Twins Ramon Ortiz. The former Angel star is 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA and has fit in quite nicely in the Minnesota rotation. Tonight, Ortiz draws Jeff Weaver who is one of the worst big league pitchers to ever win a World Series ring. Seattle signed him to a one-year contract worth $8.3 million this offseason after he helped St. Louis win the fall classic. But talk about overpaying, The Weaver era in Seattle got off to a rocky start last Tuesday, with the veteran righty surrendering seven runs, seven hits and two walks in two innings of a 14-3 loss at Boston. One final note on the "DREAM WEAVER". He's 4-6 when starting against MINNESOTA with an ERA of 6.00 and a WHIP of 1.476.

Yankees - Because Jake Westbrook is going to get lit. not so much a bet on chase wright but more of a fade of Jake Westbrook on the road. Not to mention Wrights numbers have looked pretty good in the minors.

Win TEXAS
$30- @ $2.06

Win ARIZONA
$30- @ $1.82

Win FLORIDA
$20- @ $1.90

Win LA ANGELS
$20- @ $1.94

write up - Florida - I'm jumping on board the "D-Train" in this one as Dontrelle Willis leads the Marlins against the Mets. Willis, who is 3-0 for the third time in four seasons, and is looking to become the first pitcher in the majors to record four wins in 2007. If history is any indicator, Willis (3.32 ERA) has a good chance of getting that fourth win against the Mets. The young lefty is 11-2 with a 2.02 ERA in 16 career starts against New York. His previous history against the Mets is enough for me!

Angels - The Angels turn to their Ace to get back on the winning track. John Lackey goes for his fifth straight win over the A's. The Halo's need Lackey to come up big if their to avoid a sixth straight loss and if his previous success over Oakland is any indication, he'll get the job done. Lackey has dominated Oakland in recent times. He beat them back on April 7th and three times before that allowing just three runs for an 0.87 ERA . Lackey is 7-1 with a 1.61 ERA in his last nine starts against Oakland and 4-0 with a 1.59 ERA in five starts at McAfee Coliseum since Aug. 9, 2005. Look for the long tall Texan to lead Anaheim to a much needed victory.
