G wrote:Promise this will be the last I say about laying horses. I sit on Betfair during all Adelaide trot meetings and my main point is that to suck money out of the system is too hard at double figure odds. To win a $100 you must have more than a grand in your account and you therefore only need a small hick-up to get wiped out. Personally I'll stick to laying the shorties who are drawn ordinary and or up in class. :D

you should go to the track and punt with DAMMERELL, he has this unusual knack of managing to have his horses shorter then the tote.......

Mal ,the G definately doesnt stand for [surname deleted] or however you spell the Birds name. If I wasnt clueier than him, then I'm afraid I wouldnt survive. This isnt a hobby for me, its my JOB.

[edited by Ecky to remove the reference to a surname. One of the rules of this forum is to not identify people in real life, unless they choose to do so themselves. Any questions, send me a PM]

can you share some informed tips with us all?

Mal, Bayman, SCD, JJ are all pro's on punting on adelaide trots, you only have to take note of the previews and winners they find

the treble divvie was poor but when you find a roughie in the first leg usually that would knock out more people. obviously there were some smart people punting today that took the shorty in the middle pin one out and went wide in the other 2 legs

obviously G has nailed it for units!!!!

Mal - I thought about jumping off a bridge.. I can't actually bear to watch races at the moment.. i'm hurting too much from Saturday night.. i'll let the following stewards report explain why....

Turning out of the front straight on the first occasion Our Favourite Girl broke and was pulled up out of the event. It was subsequently established that the front carrying strap had broken and the off foreleg was out of the hopple loop. The gear was inspected and found to be in good condition and no further action was taken.

yes - I had more then I should have on (because I knew it was working better and had ability) and just as it's about to find the front easily - it breaks gear.. so i've not even watched any of globe or done any form.. and might not for a couple of weeks.. i'm just not interested at the moment...
