dont get carried away MT, how can they be a gift when they have won 2 games since Round 6, with their best player and coach having a indifference, their players not getting paid and the Bays having the better of them at the Bay in recent times how oh how can they be any better than their current price? :?

Reckon the odds are about right for most games, wont be touching Centrals, give North a huge show this week, Dogs are weary with recent training and are ready for a loss....the bet I like at this early stage is the Eagles, they are coming along nicely and Sturts form on the spacious Adelaide Oval is suspect

they can be better then their current price due to the fact that they are in much better recent form then we are.

admittedly we beat them earlier in the year at home in the mud bath, but recent form from both teams to me suggests that Port should be fav.

if you want to give me $2.05 or better ill happily take it!!!!!

Port have shown little form at Glenelg Oval in recent years.

I'm very surprised you have jumped on them so hard, MT79! :?

Agree the Saint Faint in the 2nd half vrs the Swan swoop.
SS if equal at half time will obliterate the Faints
If I get the $1-40 at half time if even I will charrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrge

I suppose if Faint Kilda was 7 goals up at 1/2 time they might have a chance

mt, i agree on last weeks two games port looked a lot better but remember two things from last week the first glenelg mentally were not switched on for the game (thinking it was going to be easy etc) & the 2nd is while port looked very good they had a very limited contest so much so that it was almost a training gallop.

i'll add from the drawn game we had 2 kids in ruck including a first gamer going up against micklejohn & maric, now this week it is almost the same recipe in ruck except that maric will be playing 900 kms away & 2 young fit kids may be able to jump over the top of micklejohn & by halfway through the 3rd term (a bit like lade v hudson & maric last week, when lade got exhausted the crows got on top) & i know the playing group as a steely resolve to be switched on from the start & play 4 full quarters
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Bayman

nothing would excite me more then to see us play 4 solid quarters of footy, it would make a nice change. Id love to see us belt the wharfies, but my observations recently of glenelg do not excite me at all.

as for not being mentally switched on, theres been a few of those occassions this year and it is a very lame excuse, because the players should know from experience what happens when you arent switched on.

im still convinced that Port will absolutely smash us.

im bemused as to why people are surprised that i think they absolutely monty's this week

alright MT lets break it down -

Glenelg last 9 games are 6-2-1 1036 points for & 769 against 57.39%
Port last 9 games are 2-6-1 772 points for & 799 against 49.10%

Glenelg 4-1 at home in that stretch and Port have lost at least their last 2 at the Bay, Glenelg have kicked some big scores at the bay this year, something that Port cant seem to do this year (despite last week) in fact take out last week and port are averaging 75 points for in the last 8 games....

Port have struggled against every team in the 5, add to this the well known unrest on a few different issues, Glenelg for me
