jackpot jim there is always a few that are attractive in the paper they are the usually under double figures. Agreed many runners run much bigger usually the outsider of the market is around $26 no longer some times shorter. Most runners do run overs on the tote. finding $1.30 winner which is $3 in paper doesn't give you a good eye.
My point was early on people kept saying how bad they where. As can be seen by the bets people have they are usually on a runner which will run a quarter of the price you dont have to be a genius to work out they will be much shorter. Eg baymans place bets for gawler or May Z protokori bet. Any one who follows the trots would know she would run $1.20 best tote not $1.60!!!!
If you wanted to find the best eye why don't people get best tote price. Fair Markets (117%) biggest pools and your bets could be placed in the real world at available prices.
That would find the best judge!!!
And May Z no one ever complains about winning No matter how small the win. Won't go broke backing winners!!
