murray bridge today
best bet of the day race 2 no 1 down in class for those with betfair accounts you can lay no 2 as the horses it beat last run are shit.

ballarat
race 5 no 4 proved it cant really stay in the lexus back in distance and down in class should be very competitive

yes good run last start but i think the horse to beat is number six down in class was supported in a stronger race last start and tounge tie on suggests tounge over the bit last start. Interesting horse racing today is interlocking in the last has really good form but first up over 2000 meters may be one to watch.

Great call Span, thanks...I layed EV for a place at $1.20 :D

Anyone notice that if a horse on BF almost matches its tote price they invariabley win and when they are miles apart they lose? (e.g. there have been horses $2.00 on the tote but you can back them at $3.50 on BF - the smart money says its a LAY and they rarely win)

Hope that makes sense...but its something Ive been following for a while now....the pros are on BF and following their flucs is much more powerful than the totes these days

Exactly right Dutchy, ive had a betfair account for a couple of months now and every time ive backed a reasonably short priced horse that i thought was over the odds it inevitably lost. I am learning to stay away from those types and use it to back the longer priced horses where you can get great value. The pros are certainly on there and they do have a huge idea of what horses are going to win.

I've noticed something that involves BIG movements on particular selections. If you notice on a days card. There will be 1-2 races where a runner has had an impressive amount of money matched on it, compared to all runners in that race, but also other runners on that day. If you have a feel for what is average/expected trading amounts and you can see what is happening. It pays to get on.
