Blue Fairy Wren definitely worth an E/W ticket in the next here at Geeeeeeeelong....

Rockferry - Race 7 Geelong - Full brother to Xcellent, not the best in its first start at 1600, but smashed them by 5 lengths last start when moving up to 2200. Same distance again today.

Chastain is racing at Quirindi today, CR 7 no 2. Currently 7.70 on TAB. I dare say the extra 100m will help and he's 2:1-1-0 second up.

Racing on a good track today, and carrying an extra 4.5kgs won't necessarily assist.

UPDATE: Started slowly, but flashed home for second, paid $1.40 the place. I'll keep watching that one.

Runs well over this distance and at this track, will be nice if we get some value too.

Sorry guys, Chastain ran again at Muswellbrook, jumped slowly, settled third last and stormed home to win paying $5.60 the win on UniTab. It got me out of trouble, I had a pretty ordinary day on the Flemington races, but got my money back plus interest on this little beauty!

It's last three starts, 1-2-1.

Running tomorrow again folks. NR 6 no 4. I'd be going EW at this stage, it ran 5th last start, same distance, but down in weight. I missed it's last start so I can't say too much about the run, but it got done by 3.5L carrying 57kgs.

Obvious threat is the 2.

Chastain started in usual fashion, dropped toward the rear then looked for a run home. Got checked, checked off heals and looked back toward the inside running, got checked again and then finally got clear and ran home strongly for second.

AR race 3 - TAKOOKACHOOK scratched last start after a very good win due to a cut leg in the mounting yard, will be looking for a clean run and hopefully a repeat of its last start here over this distance.
