A mate and I have been doing similar, although it's predominantly a racing syndicate .. However we used our initial $80 Free Bet on a 4 way Multi that returned $640.

Since then we've had a few other smallish bets that lost, but on the weekend we snagged another 4 leg Multi because I accidentally selected WCE at 1-39 (instead of Hawks @ 1-39 as I was supposed to) .. $10 @ $37.22 put us nicely in front (for now).

The racing bets have been a rather dismal failure though, I must say lol
