where have all the horses gone ?

just had a quick look at the fields for this saturday & on an 8 race card there is 3 races that have 6 horses in it & another race with 7 horses in it, also only 2 of the 8 races have the full field of 10 horses, so i ask where have all the horses gone ?

My one and only trotter to follow is racing again tonight, Bainfield Washington at Penrith in the last. For those that havent followed I have tipped it a couple times on here and its paid $2 and $1.50 so its not exactly a value bet but it is an awesome horse. I will be loading up my return from its last run.

The doubles are usually the ED first, that has changed as well

get rid of extra doubles and daily doubles and put in running doubles

apart from doubling up on trebles if you miss the first leg of a quaddie, i can't see why they wouldn't have say treble races on 2,3,4 & the quaddie on 5,6,7,8 (or something like that)....mt, is there enough money around (in unitab) for unitab to create running doubles ???

dunno if there is enough money around

but in WA they have running doubles on selected meetings and they are only one state pools, unitab have 3 states to get $$$$ from.

i like the idea of a treble being races 1,2,3 and quaddie 4,5,6,7

the daily double on unitab is effectively a running double as is the extra double. other totes have doubles being race 5,7 or 6,8 for example

just an idea....

OHAKA NEVADA wins easily and pays $1-10 which wuz about the right odds

At the moment the quaddies are raffertys rules in December
