Cest La Guerre will be my main bet to win with medium goes at Master Orielly, Nom Du Jeu and I am already on Viewed from a week back

MR R5 #4
MR R6 #5
MR R7 #'s 1,5,14 (e/w),19,22 BOXED
MR R8 #14
MR R9 #9
MR R10 #6

Mad Rush would head my books in the betting but I dont like fav's in big races so I'm looking for something that might sit back off the pace that the European horses have promised. The big staying events in Europe usually get run at a better clip through the first 1200 or so and they end up dropping over the line where as here in Oz after the first 600 we settle into a pace until the last 800 or so. Having said that if the imports decide to belt along not many of ours will have the speed early yet if the Australian trainers/jockeys dictate terms the imports just wont have the toe to go with us at the end. I expect this race to be a stop start affair and see something with just staying power and patience win it.

I like Gallopin and Red Lord should not be 100/1.

Moatize is the go I reckon. Stormed home last week and still had a bit left in it as well. Never underestimate Mr Cummings.

i was watching the late edition of sports tonight here in the eastern states. they had rob munsie from sportsbet do his usual 2 minute updates on bets for the cup. he said they took over 2 million dollars in bets yesterday for PRIZE LADY alone bringing it in from 126/1 to 70/1
