I had a strath quadie on supertab today.
Had call centre thanks to dutchy, then took Fast frank and bonderchuck (2nd and 3rd!) but left out lets pardee?
took Petrrocia by itself and the field in the final leg .
and u guessed it, the winner pays $90 !!

I wonder whether the $17,000 quaddie jackpot will end up at either the Albion Park Trots or the MacKay Races.

It certainly wont end up on a SA meeting.

For some reason I just glossed over SS's tips, happy to get Call Centre (cheers Dutchy ), but oh what could have been...

Got home last night after going out for a quick fish on the Murray (got 6 Yellowbelly!) and checked my Sportingbet account. The balance astounded me then I remember what bets I had put on.

I had a wager on SS’s first tip, which was backed up by BluesBrother08 and I had $7 left in my account. Sportingbet have a product called Lucky 7 (I think).

Anyway, I did a multi – Call Centre, Lets Pardee and Fraughtwith Danger. What Sportingbet does is put $1 on each of them to win. Then does a $1 all up on all 3 combinations of 2. Then does a $1 all up with all 3 horses. So I had $1 on Call Centre which got me about $12. Then had $1 on Lets Pardee which netted me about $70. But then I also had a $1 all up on Call Centre into Lets Pardee which got me a shit load!! Gee, if only Fraughtwith Danger had got up, I would’ve been really cheering!!

I reckon I will be using these Lucky 7’s a bit more often now – I just might do more units than just 1!!

Yeah agreed ... I saw First Frank so wacked it on, and then saw Grubs tip and threw that on also .. Had to laugh when I elected not to hit Lets Pardee!

Huge tip, right up there with Booney giving me Rebel Raider during the carnival.

I did the same thing but put them in an Any2 for $50 @ $3.90 on pUniTAB
So wasnt too bad
Would have loved SS tip tho!

sounds like the Boxed Multi that centrebet offer, except you can only go upto 5 or 7 races and you can elect how much you want to spend on all the doubles, trebles, quaddies etc and either win/place

i enjoy punting like that, especially if theres 5 races in which i like a selection i can use that as the all up, cos no other TAB has all ups for 5 races

@ MT - yeah I don't really like the centrebet website - its a pain to use.

It is the first time I have ever used this way of betting - was reading it in my booklet that I got with membership and I though I would have a look at it!

Yeah Sporting bet only allows a maximum of 4 races...... You can do up to 8 legs on a Sports one though....

Will be using it to do my weekend punting from now on!! Might even have a look at what Centerbet offers. I like Sportingbet though because i can deposit with PayPal!
