I'm all for BIG MOMMA CHODA to return to the winners list in Race 10 at Gawler. Is boxed quite nice in terms of early speed and without trouble should be able to win here. PRAHN BALE of course is the major challenger for this race along with DANGER RHODE.

I like #6-2-7

on current prices ive backed the 2

ive taken multis roving up 2,6,7 with 1,4,5 and then the field in first 4's etc

7-2-4-6 would be a nice result

It's funny that.

Some dogs only perform when on the bunny. Otherwise just kind of lofts down the back without any real incentive to chase.

When they do ping, they tend to win at nice odds. Just hard to understand what races are suitable for those kind of dogs.

the way that i try and assess a leader only chances is to look at the pace in the race

if it looks like they can get the lead fairly comfortably then you must include them, but if it looks as though there is more pace around it and it wont find the front easily, then i tend to risk them. good for betfair these animals cos you know after the jump what the result will be.

Your definately right there!! Not many Proven Alias' around at the moment. Maybe Melandri, but 515m might be too short even.

Hey Dutchy.

For OVERS

Race 6 #2 PAULA NIKITA EW. Racing far better than suggested and has the right draw to come through with the goods. Amelia Bale will be the favourite, but anything under $2.50 is too short for my liking. PAULA NIKITA if leads will avoid the carnage. Amelia Bale was stuck out-wide last time when Campaspe Jack won by 12 lengths.

Race 7 #5 SKILTON WIN should appreciate this class and is likely to lead all the way. Quinella with #8 YO PAULIE.

thanks Lads will have a crack

One thing I like at the horseshoe tracks is quick beginners that are drawn 6,7,8, they seem to get some nice room to run into the first turn and van be real hard to catch while dogs on the inside can run out of room

MAL i seriously give up!
How the fricken hell is a trainer supposed to get a dog race fit and ready for the Nationals if there is no BLOODY race to run in. We will go into the heats for the Nationals underdone, not race fit and not a hope in hell of doing any good. I can keep trialling him solo until his legs fall off BUT its race fitness he needs. The week before the heats and the ONLY distance race you can get is a grade 4/5 on a Monday night which doesnt help when your dogs a grade 3.
