DC on absolute fire again. Love it how we love to pot horses (even SA's own on this occasion), what has alcopop done wrong this prep? Absolutely nothing. I said it in my preview this is a good horse. Where is SUPER STEVE now? Got the tri for nearly 50% in the Manikato, would have been a lot healthier if Wanted snuck into 3rd coz i had him too. And also had the quaddie for a bit over 30%. Mug punter STEVE?

Dodgey if you want to be a knob that is fine, I stated I would be surprised if it beat half the field home - horse won nh wp, yet you completely forget to remember my certainty that you potted and went on to win after I declared it

Won like a $1.70 fave should too........... Hmmm

Before the stewards report was on the net Carlso tipped up Tourneur holiday, best horse on the night won but his ride when looking for a run was not acceptable in a listed race imo.

D. Tourneur, rider of Alcopop, was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under the provisions of AR137a, the careless riding being that inside the 400m, he allowed his mount to shift out from behind Marchelle Belle where there was insufficient room to do so, resulting in Alcopop continuing to shift out after being taken out slightly by Marchelle Belle with Miss Darcy having to be checked severely in consequence. D. Tourneur had his license to ride in race meetings suspended for a period to commence midnight 27 September 09 and to expire at midnight 7 October, a total of 10 meetings, 2 metropolitan and 8 provincial. In assessing penalty, Stewards were of the view that the carelessness and the degree of interference qualified for the high range category, however, reduced that to a medium category given the contributing influence from Marchelle Belle in the incident.

Over now?
Thanks Dodging, a couple of nice selections friday night was able to get the trifecta in the Group 1, and the quadrella also. Alcopop topped the night off nicely. Cheers.
