well you say he sponges off the trots with the free admission and cheap feed etc, but we all SPONGE off MONEY MAL for the doggy selections. he is an astute professional in his form analysis and has an exceptional strike rate at tipping winners. For you to say that his first loser is him is ludicrous and actually belongs in the best jokes thread.

MT79 I didn't question Mal's credentials, strike rate or knowledge.I am sure he will continue to post his analysis despite getting a bake from an infrequent poster like me.The fact that he has supplied people on this forum with numerous winners does not make him immune from criticism. His post that I was replying to made him appear hypocritical and cheap. As a regular reader of this forum I believe him to be neither and so the post IMO did him no credit and triggered a response..Mal himself has twice stated he thought my comment justified, perhaps he has a clue where I was coming from.
AGrub not sure I understand your post. What precisely constitutes "messing"?And I'll pass on the champers thanks.
Thank you Mal for your gracious posts regarding my comment,at least you seem to be on my side!
I will withdraw and apologise for my "loser" gibe.It was over the top and I am sorry for it.

Thanks for clearing up the Flashing Red situation. I had backed him and Touch Of Flair in the double at the start of the carnival at $10, and spewing he had been withdrawn. My other two doubles were Be Good Johnny/Delft at $72 (at this point, had started to think I was jinxed!!!) and Smooth Crusa/Whatsundermykilt at $50 (at least this is still alive!!!)

The pacing final looks a race in two..... I hope Be Good Johny draws inside Blacks a Fake otherwise BAF will go around at $1.80 and win if it draws 5 or inside.....
Robin Hood and Winforu cant beat these top two unless they draw 2 or 3.

A Touch of Falair is over the line in the trotters!!!!!

hey grub whatabout if the best 4 horses drew the back line that would make it a great race but if one draws the front & the rest of the back then it could be a procession
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Look if BAF draws inside 4 it will be odds on and at $2.80 currently that is a great price..... If it draws 7 or worse I think you could get $3 or more..... (given BGJ draws front row)
It all comes down to the draw.... Mick Gueren is an astute punter and beleives if BGJ draws inside BAF it can beat it......
Very interesting race .... its a pity half the field are making up numbers!!!!!!!! (they could punt on snitzels tho bayman for an interest)

i still like winforu if it draws well in relation to bgj & baf. if winforu draws inside either of these two it will lead and take some beating especially if they draw back row. ( i also like it as i took it at $18 prior to the start of teh series)

flying hardwick can win the trot as it will be leading and glenbogle and whatsundermykilt should both be infront of a touch of flair for the majority of teh race- possibly none of these 3 will be too keen to make an early move and bring the others into teh race so fh may get an easy time
