Im not playing MLB much for the next few weeks while the NBA playoffs are on, cashed 3 nice bets in the NBA today 8)

atlanta just scored 4 runs in the top of the 9th. 11 - 6 up now!!!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I'm not a big fan of betting on individual games as a 162 game regular season provides a lot of meaningless contests.
However IMHO the San Diego Padres are not bad value at $15.00 to win the World Series. Admittedly they are not even guaranteed to make the postseason yet but they are in the box seat at the moment for the NL wildcard and they have 3 of the better pitchers in baseball in Jake Peavy, Chris Young and Greg Maddux as well as one of the games premier closers in Trevor Hoffman. If their hitters can deliver they could be dangerous.

So much for that idea. San Diego lost a 1 game playoff for the last wildcard spot in the National League to Colorado.
Like the Yankees at $3.75 now.

Dunno ORD, I dont reckon the Yanks can win it this year...I actually like the Indians to beat them in the playoffs starting late this week @ $2.60

Cheers, as per my playoff thread I backed them to win that series but also for the pennant and the World Series! Go Tribe 8)
