yeah the $1.50 will still be accepted given its on his website, just mentioned it so people can take the 'overs' if they want too........

If you really want my logic, here goes...

My market for the Glenelg-Eagles game would be something like 1.70 Eagles, 2.10 Glenelg.

So I rated Eagles at 2.00 as a better bet than Glenelg at 2.25, so I tipped Eagles on here. However, since I also rate Glenelg at 2.25 as slight overs, I also backed them with Sportsbet.

In theory you could have $1000 on Glenelg at 2.25 and $1100 on the Eagles at 2.00 and be guaranteed a profit of at least $100 regardless of who wins.
(but not anymore since Curly has brought his Eagles price in)

This is interesting... has this type of situation occured before? I guess it would need to be a two horse race and you'd hope it wasn't a draw. Pro punters would be all over it wouldn't they? By adding a couple of zeros you're making heaps of money at a very low risk.

It happens all the time, had quite a few myself. With odds going in and going out at various places you just have to be on the ball, happens in horse racing all the time, moreso in the past but its more complicated to work out with the extra chances in it.

I have perfect faith in Glenelg. But betting isn't about faith, it's about value for money - and $4.50 is exceptionally good value for last year's premier to finally put one away after a very lacklustre start.

Will be very glad to be wrong by over 40 points
