Like Eternal Reign in fourth at Morphetville tomorrow. Wasn't great time in first start but did get out of a bad spot and finished strongly.
Also look out for Kavanagh horses - not that that's any great tip - as he's sent a few to Adelaide for tomorrow that have been out of placings in Melbourne but will be capable of winning here. The thing is though that you may get a bit of value for a change.

Have to go with Melito in Group 1 in Brisbane. Never seems to run a bad race and was bee's you know what away in the Stradbroke. Is wide open though and is hard to find a runner that doesn't have a chance - even So Anyway beat quality field in it's 2nd to last start at Scone and Robl is in great form at the moment. Think Constance's horse Beaded is the main threat to Melito.

Will be following Pitt Streets debut in Melbourne tomorrow with interest.

CC in on Saturday, playing for rain, seems a pretty even field and if the rain comes she should be every chance over her pet distance.

Surely if a track is ever going to handle the wet its a new track with the drainage that must be 100%. What's going on?

The grass surely would not have grown properly after it was laid due it it being winter. I dont think it was a drainage issue just the fact the grass roots were not stable enough.

Today Race 7 at Morphettville another Croucher stable horse that i think isnt far off a win. Today it is a very open field with the favourite likely to be about the $4.50. The horse is Dictorial and will be ridden forward 2day and hopefully should figure in the finish, this is its third run back from a spell and was finishing off well in the previous 2 starts. Good eachway chance.
