Does anyone know the recent form of Mourilyan?

If its the one i'm thinking of, then I personally think its a good chance.

Not really sure what to go with, so I am going to box 10 in a tri and take 15%

These are the 10:
Viewed
Alcopop
Mourilyan
Roman Emperor
Changingoftheguard
Warringah
Spin Around
Basaltico
Shocking
Leica Ding.

3 that just missed my 10 are crime scene, newport and daffodil....

I might also have a couple $EW on Spin Around - big chance to run a place at massive odds.... And also on Alcopop....

With Daffodil e/w and a bit on Viewed as well.

I put my trifecta on and included Leica Ding. I think last year Bauer won the Geelong Cup and then missed by a nose. Not sure of the quality of the field this year compared to last (Geel Cup that is) but thought it's normally a good lead up, so have included it. I don't think I'll have a pick 4... not sure yet.

Trifecta - $42, 20%.

I've boxed up Mourilyan, Alcopop, Changingoftheguard, Daffodil and Leica Ding for 20%.
$5 e/w on Mourilyan and Leica Ding.

Did some random mystery trifectas and got the following..

50% Boxed
Munsef, Alcopop, Daffodil
Master OReilly, Munsef, Allez Wonder
Daffodil, Shocking, Allez Wonder
Viewed, Spin Around, Allez Wonder
Galleons Reach, Allez Wonder, Changingoftheguard

100% - In Order

Daffodil, Capecover, Viewed
Roman Emperor, Warringah, Viewed
Kibbutz, Allez Wonder, Alcopop

... Damn machine seems to have a love for Allez Wonder..

Bayman, I remember when I was in the ACT in the early 00's, three of us put in $50 each for a F/F/F trifecta. For $150 we needed the dividend to be over $150000 to reclaim our money. We cancelled the bet. The divi finished up being a few thousand and we would've got about 20 bucks back between the three of us.

For your sake I hope it's 1/19/16/17!

Currently $600k in the pool.

OK had a good look at the form and the tapes tonight and have come up with the following -

Win - Master O'Reilly - The C/Cup run was amazing, close to last on the turn it was the widest runner and come home really nice, Viewed got the dream rails run while MR had to hook wide and cover a heap of extra ground. On Saturday they met again and again everyone is focusing on Vieweds run which was solid, MR again was the widest runner and was pulling ground off everything in the closing stages and was a great cup trial IMO, also had another look at last years cup when MR ran 4th running on strongly, given an even shot at the race in the straight MR will be very hard to keep out of the money. At $14.50/$4.80 this will be my main bet.

Small interest - Daffodil on its C/Cup run and Cest La Guerre based on last years Cup 3rd, while its 09 form hasnt been flash its run last year was full of merit.

Will be adding these to fill places for the exotics - Viewed, Fiumicino, Basaltico, Shocking, Leica Ding

LAY - Alcopop, the bubble will burst

I agree with your comments on the Master Dutchy, has been hugely impressive sectionals in those races where it dropped too far back ... The distance tomorrow should give him more to work with and he'll come home strong, I think he's every chance tomorrow.

In Munsef's last three runs before being spelled in September he recorded 2 wins and a second over distances between 2400 - 2700m and carried weights between 59 and 61.5kg!

With only 53kg on his back tomorrow I tend to think he will run out the trip strongly and be a solid place chance at least.

Dutchy - good luck with Master O-reilly - you make some good points about its lead up runs and i agree it should be amongst the placings, but its had its chance to win a Cup.
good place bet
