at least i didn't use my cash to bet this week as there is always upsets in round 1

Foolish decision, easy money picking Brisbane and the Bulldogs IMHO.

Yes, but there was no value with freo or adelaide, I didn't consider backing either of them.
And its not really after the event as I did put in my selections before the weekend of footy kicked off.
We're not playing for sheep stations, we're in it to have a bit of fun and I fail to see what sort of fun you can have not putting any selections in.

Fair enough, and I know where you're coming from as Im a superstar at winning comps with small prizes when it comes to gambling (or nothing at all), as soon as it comes to real money I go backwards at a rapid rate of knots.

Just a thought, do you want me to move these topics to the "Competitions" forum, we could leave a "shadow" here so people could still click on them from this forum. Or perhaps shall I just advertise it in that forum if you want to keep it here? Or leave everything as is. Im cool either way, just thought you might be interested.

had not realised the game had started when richmond kicked a couple of goals already
so deleted it shortly after and then carlton exploded

the Essendon line ended up about +20.5 and West Coast +11.5...as they both won easily I gave the benefit of the doubt....future errors will be dealt with more harshly in the future

Thanks for the spreadsheet, you got me down as losing the Roos bet (in red), but it won....you volunteering to do this each week? Im running a spreadsheet, but not as detailed as yours...

I could email it to you each week and you can do your trick to put it on here...your thoughts?

no worries, just clarifying

ok, I'll fix that- it didn't affect your total though. keep running your spreadsheet though & see as per below

Dutchy wrote:I could email it to you each week and you can do your trick to put it on here...your thoughts?
Yep- you tally it up & send it to me, I'll put the format up as per this week

Not sure if I'm being a bit thick here, but the Wonder Elephant and PAFC 1870 both lost two units on the swans. They both got their one unit bets at 2.25 & 1.65 yet have profits of 2.31 & 1.71 respectively. The spreadsheet is calculating the Swans bet as a win? Tell me I'm not losing my mind here!!
