I already got on Port at $2.05 (in the punting comp) and am very happy with that.

Unfortunately I already placed my 1 unit bet, otherwise I reckon I'd put it on the Bays at $2.35!

Perhaps the team announcements have swayed the odds, looks like Port gets Krakoeur and Wakelin in. Also Mahoney still a chance to be called down to the smears.

Team announcements don't sway bookie odds- they sway the punter's peception of the game/outcome, & the weight of their money then influences the bookies odds.

Collingwood- But with little confidence here, could be an upset...looking at the stats since the mid season break Collingwood were averaging 54 Inside 50's, since the break they have averaged 47, a significant difference, they could well be fading away - NO BET

Hawks- Just a gut feel here that Hawks will get the job done, Brisbane travelling for the 2nd time in 3 weeks and a real tough physical game last week and die for a let down, Hawks do have some size down back to deal with Brown HAWKS WIN

Port- Should win but maybe not by as much as people think NO BET unless wet and will back Blues at line

Bullies- Bullies playing there 6 traight game on the DOOM, maybe they are getting used to the pain? they should win but Ill be betting against them at the line MELB at line

Sydney- The sleeping giant is awakening at the right time of the year, Saints coming off 4 DOOM games and never played at the venue before, Sydney for me SYD at line

Roos- Heres the upset of the round, Roos have had a well earned 8 day break, soemthing they havent had of late and have won their last 5 at the TD by an average of 30 points. WCE have only won 5 of their last 12 games. lose a couple of key players, are 8-14 at the TD since 2000 and are strong favourites here? Roos again have near full squad to choose from, Ill be on them ROOS at line, win and 1-39

Geelong- Could be a close one with the weather, esp considering Adelaide have not lost by more than 17 points this year on the road and that was to Melbourne Small wager on GEELONG 1-39

Freo- Finally woken up and could finish off Essendon here, expect them too...NO BET

I'm also bemused at Glenelg being 2.35. :?
Also Glenelg 40+ @ 6.50 (Thorntons) looks much more likely than Port 40+ @ 3.20 (Thorntons), but I don't want to give anyone ideas for the punting comp of an good way to catch up on the leaders.

Hmm...I was at that game in 2004 in Canberra, never ever been so cold at the footy, the funny thing that day was sitting next to WCE fans who were bagging Cox for not being as good as Gardiner...how times change

considering 5 of those losses where by less than 27 points it aint too bad...

and then backed CO 1-39 [instead of RI line +33.5 ] :butthead:

MALODDS of $1-18 was the best odds in Australia for CO
The others were all $1-12 and below

im centrals win

port win

and the double of both of them at the points

taken these on centrebet

melb +21.5/syd win/geel -24.5/freo -24.5 =$8.90

Half-time normal time doubles
geelong/freo/st kilda-sydney - =$12.95 - of course it had to be a draw after St Kilda were leading for most of the 2nd 1/4!!!!!!!!

melb +39.5/sydney -15.5/geel -23.5/freo -25.5 with the double chance EPL games - draw loses - Man Utd/Chelsea/Arsenal =$15

Melb +39.5/sydney win/freo win/geel h.t/n.t double/clean sheets for Man Utd and Chelsea plus a result in Arsenal-fulham =$15

you can get $1.80 that chelsea will have a clean sheet - that is an absolute GIFT

Id love to say that Birmingham can win, but to win they need to score goals and they lack firepower up front to cause any trouble.

but Salopek in for the Bays wedgie, Id say hes a better player than both of the ins for Port....you going to the Bay to support Hargs?

I had a small action bet on Richmond 1-39 last night @ $7-00, as I mentioned yesterday Collingwood have seriously dropped off in the last 2 months, thought it was worth a stab! Punk would have thought his Ric/Rich/Coll/Coll was a huge chance in the 3rd 1/4!!

WWT & Glenelg will be my SANFL bets, very tempted to have a bet on North but will probably let it go
