Well done.
Didn't have a bet and haven't seen the race as yet.

43° tomorrow. Anyone else agree that the Adelaide meeting should be cancelled?

I see no reason to race in those conditions.

Im inclined to agree with Booney
We have 2 meetings Friday and Saturday , with forecasts over 40+

The question is , what will happen if a horse dies as a direct result of the heat ?
Will there then be a definitive heat policy that will be enforced for future meetings ?

Normally bring the races to earlier in the day, starting around 10am. Have not heard if that is the case tomorrow

Melbourne's Flemington meeting had initially been brought forward to a 10-30am start during the week and then the wise decision made to cancel all Victorian races.

Would be the only reason, the almighty $.

Not sure why Saturday couldn;t be a twilight meeting starting around 4.30pm also.

Sky Channel would have a big say in this.

Yep, Sky dictate race times etc, but if they override a clubs heat policy that is a disgrace and I don't think they do
