I had my fingers crossed there may have been some team work and one of the dogs would sacrifice its chance at winning by hindering the fav

Richmond r1-3 Delta Cream which I named as its my favourite bikkie.
Just hoping for a sound run at this stage

No luck early for delta cream but not sure he'd have troubled the top 3

Came back and won a Group 3 Howard Ashton despite others having a whinge and trying to have him excluded from the series...

Victa Damian was a super dog and it’s a shame he will no longer race.
Unfortunately his career will always have an asterisk next to it because of the positive swab, but the dog at worst still had above average ability.

The South Australian Government has given the greyhound racing industry two years to improve its standards, or the sport will be banned.

It is one of the recommendations of an inquiry into the industry that was launched following revelations by the ABC of dogs being abused.

This report makes plainly clear that there is work that needs to be done."

The independent review has handed down 57 recommendations, with an additional 29 from Greyhound Racing SA, the RSPCA and the Animal Justice Party.

That includes a recommendation to establish an independent inspector for greyhound racing reform, who will make sure the recommendations are implemented.

After two years, that inspector will make a recommendation to the government about whether the industry should continue.

"It makes clear that this industry has two years, it has two years to clean itself up. Otherwise it faces the prospect of no longer being able to enjoy the social licence and the government support that is required for it to be able to operate," Mr Malinauskas said.

"That's a strong recommendation and one that the government accepts."

Part of the independent review panel wasn't really truly independent.

Unfortunately I have no faith that they will be able.to implement any changes.

Looks like there may be some movement at headquarters following the independent review.
If that happens there may be a glimmer of hope.

That's an ongoing investment I believe.
But if the charges stand I think they got life bans. But not 100%.

They are suspended indefinitely. Odds on for a life ban.
