I could not make a single case for him at the moment.
Prior to our run in the Lightning Stakes (won by Wild Rain, Cashed came second) he told us that it six months time our horse would be "better than any of these". So he's setting our expectation up beyond belief. On Sunday it came second last in a BM56.
Secondly, when it ran it's second run he said "ah, it doesn't handle wet tracks, it seemed to slip around".
Then we got told that it doesn't like running in traffic, yet on Sunday it got sent out on a slow track from barrier 11 with no gear on. The jock (an apprentice) said "it had some get up and go but when I tried to feed it through the gap, it baulked".
The horse continually pulls up sore or lame. You'll note a lot of other horses run week to week, or fortnight to fortnight. Ours and many other horses in the stable have large spells between runs.
So na, he's not doing us a great favour at the moment.
