im a little bemused how Spring Legacy was anywhere near those odds.

the speed map showed it was going to always get a good run early with slowish beginners around it! the pink didnt get a lot of luck being taken to the carpark on the first turn but its lack of early pace really didnt give it a chance unfortunately

I know #8 GENETICA trialled OK here last week. If I was able to match up the runner - which shouldn't be too hard as Schelegel was definitely trialing. Bernie use to come here all the time so #5 should be worth a shot. Meyer does trial here also.

Such an interesting race. Speed from 4,6,7 to jump. #3 as we know will head off to the outside fence, Kianna Princess didn't look like running straight until found rail - needs rail to run true and won't find that today.

If #2 Southwood Paddy can run anywhere near last week (and having the added benefit of #3 on outside) should really win here. But Lordly is strong and #7 Brindle Stagger can ping the lids and cross the field before carnage settles in

Zambora Lover is slow out and heads to the rails, just like Bob Enlim. But this time their chances are quite different. Zambora Lover is much stronger than Bob Enlim, but poorly drawn. This gives the only real pace in the race Proven Chance a great opportunity to lead here, only has to beat Witch Hunt out to lead here. Or the surprise packed from the red Northern Gunna might even lead today.

An interesting racing. If anything public will smash #7 and #5,6 will be up in the market also. Suarez is back here and has always liked it too
