outlay -
holland -$40
pegus - $30
stanley $200 @ $6.50
currie $200 @ $2.00

currie stanley tie = $650+$100 = $750 ($270 profit)
currie win = ($70 loss)
Stanley win = ($830 profit)

Heartache for Stanley backers, bad luck lads but you got a good run for your buck ... You have to be in the hunt to have any chance and you were certainly well in it today.

Good astute punting Dodgy .. You've been doubting yourself too much of late mate, just remember form is temporary class is permanent! ;)

Oops, I thought he profited, that's what I get for speed reading ... Although if I read correctly (this time around) he lessened his damage .. Surely that's a smart move?

For those looking at Strath today, Im not sure if official scratchings are out yet, but Lever wont have a ride in the 5th on Savvy Smokin' as it has been scratched - I now have a share in this horse and its heading to KI for the carnival on Saturday.

Yes, on reflecting it was a bit silly.
I forgot about my little bets with Pegus + Holland, and when I laid off with the Currie bet I thought that would leave me even if he came in. I needed to put $240 (not $200) on Currie to ensure I ended up in the black.

Dwayne Dunn 3.80
Luke Nolan 4.00
Brad Rawiller 5.00
Ben Melham 6.00
Any Other Unlisted Jockey 8.00
Craig Williams 10.00
Jacob Noonan 12.00
Logan Mcgill 16.00

I do like Dunn, fair chance you could get him for more after R4... two averageish rides in first 2 then nothing in 3+4.... but if he scores points in first 2 could drop.....

He's a bit McEvoy-ish, but Williams been riding in good form and $10 about him looks pretty decent
