Great afternoon at Horsham. 3/6 Top Ratings winning bringing us to 31/76 winners this year returning $92.70.

And Race 8 was the trifecta race with our selections. $52.70! Geeee wiz.

i know we had differing opinions in race 5, but at what price do you consider a proposition to be a CLEAR CUT and do you have any records for CLEAR CUT top selections?

obviously race 7 - 2 which won was a clear cut selection.

EDIT: HMMM this doesn't seem to look the best.

But the end numbers... are the result.... so as you can see 12/15 top ratings have won with 3 placings.

thinking with the clear cut approach is to have a bank set aside and to go all up over 2-3 selections if this strike rate continues to be sky high

Ballarat Race 4 ~ Interesting race this one. Speed comes from 2,5,6 in this race. 2 is the best box over the 550m. Has to be respected. Hard to really nail a winner here. Miss Opie can lead, but will need a little bit of trouble behind from the other fancied chances. Perhaps if your looking for a VALUE place bet. #1 GOTHAM BALE should be OVERS and Box 1 gets all favours.

Warrnambool Race 3 ~ Interesting race. We can see the 5 pinging. But fades badly. 2 loves the rails. 3 has the right form to charge over the 5. HOT NIC.... out-wide we are risking. Too much trouble in crossed 3-4 who will be in front.

Yes that is correct. The lower the rating the more clear cut we see the race. Hence the bet types change. The higher the rating, the less chance we have of seperating the runners.

These results are then kept track of, and as posted previously. Of our 15 TOP RATING greyhounds.,.... we have found 12/15 winners with 3 placings. But in our TOP RATING RACES..... we are finding exotics at a successful rate.

Warrnambool Race 5 ~ Middle-outside boxes are not favoured over the 650m. Arvo's Sphinx will be well unders. But when 1/31 races is won from Box 6 at this distance it is a bit of worry. Especially since there is plenty of pace on the inside.
