Need to start making a better impression on the voucher at least there is hvl Sunday and Tuesday. There is a good profit margin for 3rd rating winning when it is ranked $6.50 and less in my market wins 25% of the time. I suppose this means when my top 3 are so close in ratings as seen in hvl race 12 that I can find the winner nearly always in top 3 just have to work out how to wager to it and not just rule out 3rd selection. Which mind you has nearly climbed its way to evens in level stakes....

Lots of early speed from #2,#5 both fade in the running. Given the track at Warragul and the big sweeping bend and nice straights the 400m shouldn't give them too much of an advantage. I can see the #6,7 coming over the top of 2,5. I think the biggest improver in the race will be ENDEN ROCKET #1 who will enjoy the rails run and can run on OK , but finds trouble and isn't too smart.

There is a good chance for #8 to win this race, given the speed from #5,6 to open up a hole at the initial jump and #7 will be at the rear. I think will appreciate the room and be too good for these. #1 if can run up to last start will be in with a huge change, #2 is slow out and vacant box near outside also assists.

I will be watching the market for #5 - is the one that can ping the lids quite well and could be hard to chase down (which I think will happen).

I know the punters are going to come for the #2,6 - which will create value for the other runners. I believe both 2,6 can be beaten by the strength of the #4 and the pace of #8. But still #2 will jump and give them something to chase.

Track bias today for me says that #2 will fade badly. Should still win though.
