for what its worth and not a lot here are my thoughts on tomorrows card

race 1 - will leave alone, although $7.50 fixed odds on the 9 is appealing for a small ew - winner $$$$

race 2 - clearly the toppy looks the one to beat in this. Others to include around it I think are the 3,5,8,11. I like the 8 at the odds $13 - result of 3-7-1-10

race 3 - 4 happy trails looks a solid ew bet in this, although it has a fair bit against it, up in grade, gets back in its races, but i hope Oli can get to about 4th or 5th on settling . - got back a long way and made good ground for 2nd

race 4 - Like two at odds here, the 3 Gold Salute my main pick, ran a super race last start and is slightly down in grade from G1 to G2
the 4 La Rocket, also went ok last week and can get a forward position, just gotta hope for no rain. - was hoping Gold Salute would be scr when it didnt want to go into the barriers about 4 times and La Rocket never in it

race 5 - super race on paper - I think its a 3 way battle with the 1,4,6 with a leaning towards the 4 to knock off the fav - 6 wins with a leg in the air

race 6 - 2 lion tamer ew at the $21 will probably be longer if there is no rain about, dont like the race at all - ran a nice race for 2nd, winner too good

race 7 - 2 Precedence - can get $4 in a promo with luxbet i think it is, top pick, good form around Linton
6 Master O'"Reilly - goes ok at the track, distance is obviously no probs, just hope there are no side effects from what it was that caused him to miss last week
11 Niptious - a real roughy - went fair at Moe last start, just hoping it can lead and no pressure in front

Precedence won and was short on the totes, niptious led but not upto that class, master oreilly went terrible

Race 8

well where do you start?
So you think is the countrys pick and it deserves to be fav, but im not sure about the short odds - won easily
1 - zipping - is proven in this race should be right in the finish - 2nd
2 - whobe - loves this track barrier a slight concern - 3rd
4 - wall street - form behind Ginga Dude won impressively last week, drawn nicely, goes forward, can either attack the fav or sit behind it racing for 2nd. - sat on the fence and battled
10 - more joyous - dont think it can win, can see this settling 3-4 back the fence and running on into a place at best - led and didnt run the distance

race 9

1 - katie lee - a kiwi horse, goes good at distance/class hard to beat - Bosson got this horse last on the rails - you idiot
2 - Lady Lynette - won this race last year is a half kilo more, but I havea theory that mares tend to race best at certain times of the year. She obviously was going good last year and no reason why she cant be winning this again this year - winner at handy odds
4 - ghostmilk - needs a flood to win, but its form isnt that bad on paper and some of these you would be struggling to want to feed - just didnt go at all today

Makes it a long day waiting for the big one if you started on the gas about 9am!!! Suspect Ch9 probably wanted it later for ratings also.

Looking at going over next year via some sort of package

I was there last year and I highly recommend getting along to one, had an absolute blast.

R3 - Happy Trails - Don't mind That's Not it ew
R4 - Gold Salute e.w.
R9 - Our Tigress at odds e.w.

Got the quaddies, shame it paid dick all. I thought Precedence was beatable but too strong in the end.

Ended up having $10 on my ew tip in R3 which made it a great day. Got up at 17s

SYT and Black Caviar, wow, how impressive were their runs. The way they can put 2-3 lenghts on the field so effortlessly is breathtaking.

Same, punters club day. See if I can get overs from the old mans ex bookie. Can always have a laugh at ''Hollywood Syd's'' odds he offers to the unknowing.

Couldn't help but laugh when I saw Bosson last on the fence with Katie Lee. Did the same thing with Princess Coup when she was well fancied in the Cox of 08

I went yesterday and had a great day, highly recommend it to all.

Little cold early but the day brightened up.

It's even better when you back something at 12/1 and it starts odds on. I did give this forum the heads up mid August, hope someone followed my lead. Toorak Toff into So You Think. Now for the Cup.

Owners got enough $$$, is more interested in racing horses than breeding with them.

A super stallion, but I suspect the racing public will be the winners here.
He will race until he is five I'd say.
