I cannot see the #6 getting anywhere near these. Zambora Ace was a good run at Horsham last start, and with vacant box on inside and good run to the bend, should be too classy for these.

Track record holder from Thompson kennel is going to be short. Drawn to lead and run away from this field. Given the box draw for #3 should simply follow the leader all the way, #7,8,1 are the ones that will be running on - #8 probably less than #7 because does race better when leading.

I think the exotics are between those numbers, if anything #6 can come into 4th. But I see this field spread apart.

#1 is the one to find on top, but need good odds. When he won here last time, was drawn top perfection again and got al the favours in a smaller field. Needs favours here again. This is a muddled field and it is hard to seperate them on ability.

If #3 runs up to what it can - it will win. The best advantage for #1 is the draw - should be winning, but I think this field is going to be closer than what Joe things (I expect they get ME AN KOBI into $2.60 or something).

Plenty of pace from #1,5 in the early stages of this race. The obvious key is how they handle the box rise first time out. If they get caught sleeping then this race should simple belong to #3,8.

The even spread of the 300m gives the impression that HOREYS HOUND is better drawn than the red.

#7 Prowling Lad 2/2 here and drawn quite well as there isn't a lot of pace on the inside of him. Sure the best time here isn't that flash in just breaking 17 - but you have to consider that the rest of this field probably isn't up to running much faster anyway. I have #8 as a close second -I believe the Shep form will transfer well here.

The punters will come for #2 - first time here and has to jump ahead of #1 to do best.

#6 MAJOR FIRE simply has to win this race based on ability and draw. Will jump quite well here and given the lack of speed/experience at HVL around will simply get a good chance at a clear run as the other favoured runners are all boxed together, which makes their clear path harder to attain.

#2 DILSTON REGAL is the bigger challenge here, trainer has brought a couple of speedy types here so watch the betting on them.

This is simply a race in 2. IT'S MANIC is in top form at the moment here and should begin too speedy for all of these runners and win. That is all IT'S MANIC has to do - is jump.

Cup heat runner who was backed in well draws a more favourable draw, inside a slow beginner, outside someone who should move left from the inside draw. #5 will not come to the rails, while #6 will try too. This gives 3 the perfect chance to show what time he can run.

This is going to be a race where I expect the exotic dividends to pay quite well. An open race with KOOBLA KAHN giving plenty of value (drawn to be given room - needs it).

#2, 8 both to fade here. #4 can begin well and likes it here. #3 is going to find problems with #2. #5 we know goes well here and will sweep out and in. #6 can jump with them - and on ability here I think gets the right passage through. The problem is how close to the rails will they all get in the middle of the race.

It is safe to say, that if you are taking the quaddie take FIELD in this leg. I will not be going with Joe who will do a market 2 from 8 as the clear runners - I think that is wrong.

Trainer did say last week that it would be different over the 350m...... was right. So don't have HDN winning by as much - was beaten in BOD. So cannot complain - should still win by 2-3 lengths.
