should the sajc offer the ajc 'our tracks' to run their meetings on ? so they run their races & the victorians etc can travel to adelaide with their horses for the bigger prizemoney etc. eg (that is a randwick meeting at morphettville)

I love the idea Bayman - but it's not viable.. you will allow average animals (the SA horses) to race in some of the best races for good prizemoney and who is going to put up the prizemoney??

SA can't - they don't have it
and
NSW wouldn't - there is no benefit to their horses + trainers and what return would they get on the tote compared to what they would if run in NSW..

scd, they (ajc) can then still run their races (i'm talking about their bigger races) & the victorians & perhaps even a couple from wa would travel to adelaide to race for the big nsw races & as for lower class adelaide horses i'm not so sure as dont they have to qualify to a standard first ? & for those horses getting prepared for a melbourne cup will at least be running anti-clockwise

Understand what you're saying Bayman - but again who will put up the prizemoney...

AJC won't - there is no benefit to them... sponsors may not want to sponsor in SA + no help to their own particpants and turnover on NSW tab would be down being an SA Meeting...

SAJC - can't pay for their own major meetings, how will they pay for and AJC meeting?

scd i've said give them a course & let them run their meetings here, which means that they would put up their own prizemoney as surely it is more benficial to run them somewhere rather than nowhere, maybe logisically i cant be done but why not offer it to them & see what happens ? a bit like the interdominion except that they use their on money

i would have thought a bit hard when at the moment theres only VIC, SA, WA and probably Darwin and maybe even TASSIE racing, NSW are in diabolical shite with the EI and arent racing, so NSW arent going to race the big races where as SCD mentioned they wont get any decent returns via TAB and Sponsors and plus the NSW horses arent racing.....
