The bloke who orgainised our cricket club's night at the dogs last week co owns Chief Braveheart with some mates and the trainer (trainer 50%)

from memory he paid around $400-$500 for the dog plus other costs when racing as its currently injured the trainer is wearing all the costs for now not sure if they all do this or not.

THE MORE MEMBERS YOU GET THE CHEAPER THE SHARE WILL OBVIOUSLY BE PER PERSON. ONCE WE KNOW HOW MANY MEMBERS WOULD BE INTERESTED WE COULD THEN WORK OUT WHAT SORT OF MONEY WE WOULD EACH BE WILLING TO PUT IN. OUT OF THE FULL AMOUNT OF DOLLARS WE HAVE WE PUT ASIDE A % OF IT FOR A KITTY IN CASE OF INJURIES ETC. THAT WAY EVERYONE WILL ONLY NEED TO PUT IN THE INITIAL AMOUNT WITHOUT ANY ONGOING FEES.
OBVIOUSLY THE MORE MONEY RAISED THE BETTER STANDARD OF DOG WE COULD NEGOTIATE TO PURCHASE!
