GREYHOUNDS MONDAY 08/10/07

Just a coupla hounds that look likely to be in the EXOTICS tonight

SG 2-6 SPECIAL SAGE [$20-00]
Former NZ hound now 3rd up in NSW
Having first look at the 720m at WPK but distance looks its caper
Now a 5 dog field and I reckon it will run on into the finish
Is the rank outsider in the race
EXOTICS 1-2-3RD

SG3-7 WOMBAT WARRIOR [$5-00]
Just drops a mile behind them and winds up too late
This is a 7 dog field which will help it to get into the finish
EXOTICS 2-3RD in TRIFECTAS or 4TH in PICK 4s for a saver

Pity there are no third dividends in this race for the place bets

:( just a quick note to all who knew him.
Blizzard Jack has retired due to a strained hock from his last start ( i thought it looked to bad to be true on his last run)
he will go into the gAP program as soon as he is recovered.
he got a few wins and a couple of nice trophies.

RESULTS

SPECIAL STAGE 2ND [$3-30 PLACE]
WOMBAT WARRIOR 4TH

I got the $45 tri with SPECIAL STAGE and backed it for the place
I lost on WOMBAT WARRIOR as I took the trifecta with it [no P4 saver grrrrrr]

Some profit there in exotics tonight

Pity there are no third dividends in this race for the place bets

As a recent greyhound owner (first as a runner, then as a pet) I can confirm they are BRILLIANT pets.

If you are looking for a dog, you can do much worse than getting a greyhound!!
