I like Zavite for the win and cancanelle as a roughie, any other thoughts. Thought sentire was the nag to beat but scratched.

Was my thoughts too as an obvious winner, with possibly Toulouse Lautrec with Nikolik on board or Satinspin with Shinn on board as a roughie.

Good luck with ya bet :)

I generally like to back the Geelong Cup winner in the Melbourne Cup- when Makybe Diva won her 2nd up, I backed the winner of the GC e/w, it flew home like a train & just narrowly failed to beat her, @ the good price of $60. Yes, I had the place also, but I felt that was one of my biggest near misses on the gg's.

I agree PR, its generally a pretty good guide and have used this system in past years, as long as you dont rate the internationals!!
