as you know you get a home-state tote dividends for win, place, quinella, exacta & trifecta

now i'm asking this what happens if you get a multiple bet up eg exacta & it pays on 2nd & 3rd etc but not the 1st & 2nd you have had on sportsbet....what happens to your sportsbet bet ?

i would hope they would give you what the pool was but i doubt they'd do that so what happens ?

I'd suggest that you would LOSE, LOSE, LOSE.

Typical Bayman, Backs a Loser and still wants to be Paid. :shock:

The difference being is that a Bookmaker only has to pay out on Winning Bets where as the TAB Have to pay out a certain % of the Pool regaurdless of if theres a winning combination or not.
ie. as in an Exacta, Pay 1st and 3rd or whatever. In trifectas, any order etc. or Jackpot First 4s.
Have i confused u enough or do u get my Drift?

if on sportsbet i have an exacta & it comes in but NO ONE HAS IT on the tab what happens with the bet on sportsbet ?

I would think they would payout exactly the same as the home tote for the race, even if that is pay in any order....why dont you ring them or send off an email?

Yes, I was confused with what you wrote. Sorry.
I've got NFI what their rules would be, Let us Know if u find out.
Personally i dont F$$K around with Quinellas and Exactas.

183.8. A Trifecta requires nominating the first three (3) place getters in correct order. In the event that the home state TAB does not declare a dividend on the first three place getters in correct order, then Sportsbet will pay the same dividends and numbers as declared by the home state TAB. In addition, subject to the limits in Rules 180.1 and 180.2, should a Member/s of Sportsbet successfully nominate the first three place getters then Sportsbet will declare an additional dividend be equal to:
(the total dollar amount of the pool held by the home tote on the trifecta pool for the event less statutory deductions) Divided by (the total number of winning units held by Sportsbet on the event )
