GDP 02/11/07 and where...

As Ray Davies the lead singer of the Kinks once sang
" WHERE HAVE ALL THE GOOD TIMES GONE."
I really miss the BAYMAN/SCD/CENTREMAN in depth previews

LATE MAL

R4-6 TOP NOTCH SAM [$3-80]
If we get EW odds a bet to nothing despite the barrier
Will drop back and steam home over the top and looks the winner but EW is insurance
EW

R6-7 UNIQUE STYLE[$3-20]
Certainty beaten last run, but appears a gunna horse
If we obtain EW odds would be a bet to nothing as will run a place and might win
EW OR PLACE

OTHER RACES
_______________

R7-7 CHESS RAIDER
In a claiming race where results can be topsy turvey
Is quoted at $3-20 and should beat these on best form

As for those great previews we used to get, I think what Mary Hopkins once
melodiously sang out is appropriate " THOSE WERE THE DAYS."

Been too busy this week MAL!!!
Day in the hospital with a little one hasn't helped either :( :(

R2 - 10 e/w (even from this barrier over 1800m) because I can see pace on from 3 and 5 early, with 9 giving it a nice cart into the race

R6 - 5 e/w - working up to a win and this field gives him a good chance to bounce back, 7 is the main danger and they look a good way to go in multis

Good luck if you're having a punt

2 seperate bets depending which way you adjudicate
EW = WIN + PLACE at equal amounts
OR
PLACE = Place only

Perhaps a RATIO bet
1 win
3 places

For a $20 investment portfolio perhaps $5 win $15 place

Take care if its showing $2-20 win $1-10 a place = no bet
When I say if we get EW odds = about $5-00 win + $2-00 a place = great bet
I am budgeting for about $3-50 win $1-60 a place = a good bet

LATE MAL RESULTS

TOP NOTCH SAM ...3RD ...............$1-40 PLACE
UNIQUE STYLE ......1ST $2-50 WIN $1-00 PLACE

Both were too short to back
But if you backed them both EW there was a slight profit

But the honours go to SCD with a $12-60 winner :drinkers: :prayer: :partyman: :prayer:  :prayer:
His other EW bet ESIASON was 2nd PAID $1-20 a place [the LATE MAL tip UNIQUE STYLE beat it  ]
