Got the little man's b'day coming up on Wed. 12 Dec..... any ideas on what I can do to keep him involved while I still get my Wed punt (pay day punt...cant miss it)..... Angle park? Cheltenham?
I relay should spend some time with the lillte dude as I have been grumpy lately...(losing on the punt and always hungover.... is the usual reason)..... might have to give mrs grub an invite..... on second thoughts NO... she can stay home and prepair our dinner.....
bayman how do you treat the little fella while still getting a punt? PUNK, DUTCHY ,MT ,wcp,ANY THOUGHTS?

i WAS THINKING 9.30 - 10.30 hUNGRY jACKS BREAKFAST (hj'S HAVE A PLAYGROUND)
10.30 off to Angle Park where little grub can watch his favourite box 5 yellow dogs go round.... (free mystery tri in each race for him)
1pm off to Cheltenham for Race 3 -8.....
5.30 get home tell mrs grub we had a great day at the zoo and then she can take over his care and cook my dinner....

might head over to a mates place that night after dinner(via Hanson Rd ...if the punt goes my way that day) for a few beers.....

Just wanted a few thought on what I can do to make his day a bit special.....preferablly with minimal cost....

ANGLE PARK free admission

SAJC charge $10 - that $$$$ could be spent on food for the lil fella

a grub, what you do to help little grubs education is to let him read the form & put $1.00 on his selections which then gives him something to watch & barrack for (he could even get you out with a roughie  )
see by reading it helps his education & with you putting $1.00 on a dog for him you have a chance to get some or all of it back instead of buying a chocolate, chips etc throughout the day to shut him up see its healthier as well

Grub.... maybe you should join Britney Spears in parenting classes?

Maybe, just maybe you should do something little Grub wants to do.
Take him to the Beach House at Glenelg.
Sign him up as a member at North Adelaide, & take him on a tour of Prospect Oval (he'll love you for life for this).
1 day off the punt won't kill you- but you might end up with an unfamiliar thing in your pockets called "cash"....

the only reason i have a day off the punt is when i have no loot......

its boring going to the bay.... i could leave him at the beach house and i could go 4 a punt i spose....

Mate,I hope you are joking.I am 32 with an 11 year old.Do you think he was "planned" ? No he wasnt, but to suggest he has 'to fit into my life' is a sad,sad statement indeed.

He is my best mate now,I love spending time with him.We went to Regency Park on Tuesday arvo for a round of Golf together, loved it.Wont be long mate and he will be 15 and wont want to know you,or does that excite you?
