just got back from the track and watched the race again....

went too slow for us to run on unfortuately, we loomed up on the turn but the leaders had too much in the tank, still only 2 & 1/2 lengths off the winner and they are reasonable nags....Stubbie said he thought we had them covered on the turn!

needs longer just need to find the right race, Kenny said we might be going bush to try and pick up a maiden...5 runs and never more than 3 lengths from the winner, consistent but also frustrating!!!!!

Dutchy Im definately no expert especially where the gallops are concerned, but on watching the last couple of runs I would have thought the horse was crying out for 1600 - 1850m.
I realise the trainers probably more than aware of this but are there any suitable races over this type of trip coming up ?

consistently around the mark, looking for more distance which isnt available to maidens so why not step it up to a class 1 bush race over a suitable distance

your spot On G, Ken said there is absoltuely nothing for 3yo fillies over a bit of ground at the moment and had to run her in a unsuitable race today...Stubbie did say he feels she will run any distance as she settles well and will keep coming at the end, I said to Ken today there is a 1450 in a fortnight but he said she needs even further than that, 1800m on Boxing Day might be the best bet

Jumped well and sat 1 out 1 back. Jockey then pulls the reigns and drops it back to last. Then for mind took of to early.
Is it just me or was that a terrible ride?
Did it jump better than expected?
I thought it was going to get a cozy ride sitting 1 out 1 back but then to see it pulled back to last!
RAN LAST!!

race simply wasnt run to suit...... they kept falling back in his lap.... forget the run and throw the form out....

HILTON>>>WADH....... I backed D Dunn in the jockeys challenge and Hilton always says as they are loading the last race what the situation of the JC is...eg who can win ect.... He said Dunn cant be beat whatever happens..... even after the race he said Lindop (won last race) ended up on 7 pts but the winner was Dunn with 9....... Yet I go down and collenct and they tied both on 9 .....FFS.... get it right...WADH......

yeah poor run, i didnt go today but just called one of the owners that did, she pulled for most of the first 600m and her race was run, was a weird ride, I would have liked to have seen her ina forward position in a small field, they dawdled again which didnt help.....that might be it for this campaign apparently...
