Australian Open Golf

Last big local tournament of the season, so hopefully we can right some of the wrongs of the last couple of tournaments ;-)

- Appleby at $16
- Nathan Green at $23
- Greg Chalmers at $41

- James Nitties to shoot the lowest Round 1 score at $101.

Over to the stable!

Nitties at $8.00 (all TAB Sportsbet - may have picked the wrong option for him at the $101 in the first post!!)

obviously no one here backed popeye, i dont bet on golf & i'll add except for perhaps tiger woods, 'how many golfers have picket fences in the form guide next to their name' ? :shock: :shock:

as DUTCHY has mentioned previously with the wife and newborn he has other distractions

I backed Parry at $5-00 after 8 holes today, thought he was the steady one out there today....good to get a collect after a lean couple of Aussie tourneys

pretty hard to get picket fence going Bayman when there are 132 starters in every Tourney, imagine a horse field that big!!!
